Registrato all'Hollywood Palladium di Los Angeles nel 2018, "Sunset 666" è il nuovo album live dei The Jesus and Mary Chain, in uscita il 4 agosto 2023 per Fuzz Club. Nel 1990, una giovane band americana, piena di un preciso tipo di rumore e di oscurità, era ospite speciale del tour statunitense intrapreso da un gruppo che aveva rumore e oscurità, equilibrio e catarsi propri. La giovane band: Nine Inch Nails. Gli headliner: The Jesus and Mary Chain. Quasi trent'anni dopo, l'invito è stato esteso. I fratelli Reid sarebbero disposti a invertire i ruoli e ad aprire per i Nine Inch Nails nel loro tour nordamericano? Trent Reznor era un fan dei Mary Chain e ne era stato influenzato fin dall'ascolto di "Psychocandy", per cui l'idea era perfetta e i fratelli Reid accettarono.
