The Blessed Madonna pubblica il suo attesissimo album di debutto dal titolo “Godspeed” il 18 ottobre. Composto da 24 tracce, tra cui i singoli “Mercy” feat Jacob Lusk e “Serotonin Moonbeams” e il singolo Top 20 in UK “Happier” feat Clementine Douglas, “Godspeed” è stato scritto in tre anni, con migliaia di ore di lavoro. Con 24 tracce, l'album è sia una testimonianza dell'influenza decisiva e di vasta portata di Marea Stamper (alias The Blessed Madonna), sia un omaggio alle sue radici nella musica elettronica underground. Attingendo ad una ricca serie di collaboratori - da megastar del pop come Kylie Minogue a nomi di lunga data nel cuore pulsante dell'underground statunitense come Jamie Principle e A-Trak, da artisti emergenti come Joy Anonymous a vocalist che si rifanno al soul classico (Danielle Ponder), al gospel new-age (Jacob Lusk) e all'RnB britannico (Joy Crookes) - “Godspeed” esplora la miriade di suoni, epoche e punti di contatto che rendono The Blessed Madonna l'artista che è oggi. Al centro dell’album ci sono anche temi profondamente personali. In equilibrio tra le due fiamme gemelle del rave e della religione - entrambe di importanza cruciale per Stamper - “Godspeed” esplora l'intero spettro delle emozioni umane, affrontando con eguale gusto ogni cosa, dalla gioia al dolore.
