Pubblicato nel 1973, l'album di debutto omonimo dei BEDLAM è una pietra miliare dell'HARD ROCK britannico, non solo per la sua qualità ma per la presenza di COZY POWELL (Jeff Beck Group, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, Brian May, Michael Schenker, Gary Moore, Robert Plant…), uno dei più grandi batteristi della storia del ROCK. La nuova ristampa enormemente ampliata per il 50° anniversario, "The Bedlam Anthology", è una celebrazione della band in 6 CD. I primi quattro CD contengono il mix originale dell'album, un nuovo remix 2023 di Denny Ball dal multi-traccia originale, e un paio di CD dal vivo di fine 1973 ed inizio 1974, quest'ultimo dal tour americano con i Black Sabbath. Il quinto e sesto CD sono dedicati ai Big Bertha, la prima incarnazione del gruppo, con un live del 1970 ed una serie di demo e singoli del periodo 1968-1970. Il tutto raccolto in bel cofanetto come consuetudine dell’etichetta.
