BEHIND CLOSED DOORS è il terzo album dei Thunder, pubblicato originariamente nel 1994 e che si classifica al 5° posto della chart album nel Regno Unito.
Dal disco sono stati estratti tre singoli nella Top 40: Stand Up, River Of Pain e Castelli Nella Sabbia.
L'album è stato prodotto dal chitarrista Luke Morley e dal mixer di lunga data Mike Fraser con il contributo di ogni membro della band e dall’ex produttore e chitarrista dei Duran Duran, Andy Taylor.
Questo disco viene considerato un grande classico tra i fan della band e dell'hard rock.
BEHIND CLOSED DOORS viene ristampato in edizione estesa con tracce inedite e versioni bonus live, in formato CD e doppio LP colorato nuovamente disponibile dal 1994
