How Do You Burn?

Il nono album degli Afghan Whigs, How Do You Burn? segue i precedenti Do to the Beast (2014) e In Spades (2017), e riprende tutto esattamente da dove la band si era fermata dopo l’attesissima reunion avvenuta nel 2012. The Afghan Whigs hanno iniziato a lavorare sull’album nel settembre del 2020, dopo che il frontman e cantautore Greg Dulli era stato costretto a rinunciare al tour per promuovere il suo ultimo album solista Random Desireper colpa del COVID. E proprio a causa della pandemia, la band si è ritrovata a registrare da remoto: Dulli, il suo co-produttore Christopher Thorn e il batterista Patrick Keeler si trovavano in California; il bassista John Curley, il chitarrista Jon Skibic e il polistrumentista Rick Nelson erano rispettivamente a Cincinnati, in New Jersey e a New Orleans.
