Formatisi a Londra nel 1976, i Damned sono diventati una delle band più innovative e influenti della scena punk rock britannica degli anni '70. Il loro singolo di debutto “New Rose” (1976) è considerato il primo singolo punk mai pubblicato nel Regno Unito. hanno annunciato una serie di concerti di reunion con la formazione originale composta da Dave Vanian (voce), Brian James (chitarra), Captain Sensible (basso) e Rat Scabies (batteria). Tuttavia, a causa della pandemia, sono stati costretti a rimandare gli spettacoli al 2022. Il 3 novembre 2022 la band si esibisce all'O2 Apollo di Manchester, nel Regno Unito, con un energico set di 21 canzoni tratte dai primi due album, “Damned Damned Damned Damned” e “Music for Pleasure” del 1977, gli unici album in cui sono presenti i quattro membri fondatori. Questo leggendario spettacolo di reunion è stato immortalato nella pubblicazione mondiale “AD 2022 - Live In Manchester”, che ritrae perfettamente la magia unica dei Damned.
