Gli Arctic Monkeys hanno annunciato il loro settimo album in studio, The Car che uscirà il 21 ottobre. Il disco conterrà il nuovo brano I Ain’t Quite Where I Think I Am, anticipato dalla band ieri sera al Zurich Openair in Svizzera. The Car è stato registrato tra il monastero Butley Priory di Suffolk, i RAK Studios di Londra e La Frette a Parigi, con l’intenzione di esplorare un nuovo orizzonte musicale, sontuosamente orchestrato che si accosta ad alcune delle migliori e più ricche performance vocali della carriera di Alex Turner. La foto della copertina del disco è del batterista della band, Matt Helders.
“The Car” sarà disponibile su LP standard, CD e cassetta.
