RAGE è la HEAVY METAL band fondata nel 1983 dal bassista e cantante Peavy Wagner. Nella loro enorme discografia, il gruppo è passato da uno SPEED THRASH, al POWER METAL e addirittura ad album SYMPHONIC. I grandi eventi proiettano le loro ombre (apparentemente altrettanto significative) prima di loro: La band tedesca torna adesso con il suo nuovo album in studio "Afterlifelines". Il doppio album è composto da un totale di 21 canzoni, tra cui un'introduzione, un interludio e un'outro. È notevole che i due dischi presentino approcci musicali diversi: "Il primo album si chiama 'Afterlife' e comprende canzoni che abbiamo registrato come trio, mentre il materiale del secondo album 'Lifelines' include anche arrangiamenti orchestrali classici", spiega Peavy Wagner. Wagner e i suoi due compagni di band Jean Bormann (chitarra) e Vassilios "Lucky" Maniatopoulos (batteria) hanno inciso più di 94 minuti di nuova musica, compreso quello che Wagner definisce un "gran finale di 20 minuti".
