Little Feat è la “cult” band per eccellenza fondata da Lowell George.
SAILIN’ SHOES è il secondo album pubblicato nel 1972 e la sua musica è un mix di pop, rock, blues e country.
Contiene i brani “Willin’” (coverizzata da Linda Rondstadt e molti altri), “Easy to Slip” (scritta in origine dai Doobie Brothers) e la title track.
È stato uno degli album più acclamati di quegli anni. Questa ristampa in edizione deluxe (doppio CD e triplo LP) contiene l’album rimasterizzato dai nastri originali, materiale inedito, demo, outtake e versioni live complete.
