LOS ANGELES – Prima della sua scomparsa a gennaio, il leggendario chitarrista Jeff Beck ha rivisitato le registrazioni dei concerti fatte da Beck, Bogert & Appice, il power trio che ha formato nel 1972 con il batterista / cantante Carmine Appice e il bassista / cantante Tim Bogert. La musica dal vivo segna la band all'inizio e alla fine della sua breve ma influente collaborazione, con due spettacoli in Giappone nel 1973 e una delle ultime esibizioni del gruppo a Londra un anno dopo.
ATCO / Rhino ha annunciato l’uscita del nuovo cofanetto BBA, LIVE IN JAPAN 1973, LIVE IN LONDON 1974, il 15 settembre in 4 CD, 4 LP e in digitale. Tutti e tre i membri della band sono stati coinvolti nella creazione di LIVE IN JAPAN 1973, LIVE IN LONDON 1974, e la collezione è dedicata a Beck e Bogert, scomparsi rispettivamente nel 2023 e nel 2021. Il set include un libretto completo con note di copertina estese, che descrivono nel dettaglio la storia del gruppo dal punto di vista del giornalista musicale / manager Bruce Pilato, insieme a cimeli, foto d'archivio e un poster.
