Special Beat Service è il terzo album in studio del gruppo ska britannico the Beat, pubblicato il 1° ottobre 1982 dalla Go-Feet Records. Come il resto del loro materiale, fu pubblicato negli Stati Uniti con il nome “the English Beat”. Ha raggiunto il n. 39 della classifica degli album Billboard 200 nel 1983, grazie ai due singoli “I Confess” e “Save It for Later”, i cui video musicali hanno ricevuto una modesta diffusione sulla nascente rete video di MTV.
