Scegliendo Brian Eno, ex membro dei Roxy Music e collaboratore di David Bowie, come produttore, i Talking Heads ampliarono notevolmente il loro sound per il loro secondo album, pubblicato nel 1978. More Songs About Buildings And Food è tra i migliori lavori dei Talking Heads. L'influenza del produttore Brian Eno è evidente, poiché ha contribuito a spingere la band verso territori sempre più innovativi.
