Cheek To Cheek è la collaborazione tra due artisti leggendari capaci di abbracciare diverse generazioni per celebrare la musica jazz e contiene classici standard jazz cantati da Lady Gaga e Tony Bennett in duetto e performance soliste. Ogni canzone è stata scelta personalmente dai due artisti.Registrato a New York, la lavorazione del disco è durata circa 1 anno, il tempo necessario per riunire in studio il meglio del genere: Bennett Mike Renzi, Gray Sargent, Harold Jones e Marshall Wood, il celebre pianista Tom Lanier, il trombettista jazz Brian Newman, amico e collega di lungo corso di Lady Gaga, che appare nel disco insieme al suo quintetto jazz di New York. Il disco vanta la presenza anche di Joe Lovano (sax tenore) e il flautista recentemente scomparso Paul Horn.Fonte: Universal
