Dopo il recente 40° anniversario dell'album della band, Junk Culture, gli Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) pubblicano ora Crush, l'album ampliato sarà disponibile dal 10 ottobre in DOPPIO VINILE e DOPPIO CD. Pubblicato originariamente il 17 giugno 1985, Crush, il sesto album della band, ha portato gli OMD
oltreoceano e si è trasformato nel loro album di maggior successo negli Stati Uniti grazie al singolo "So In Love", entrato nella Top 40 di Billboard, e dal successo del brano "Secret" a livello radiofonico. Partendo da una serie di demo, Andy e Paul, insieme al polistrumentista Martin Cooper e al batterista Malcolm Holmes, iniziarono a registrare Crush negli Amazon Studios di Liverpool alla fine dell'inverno del 1984 per poi trasferirsi al Manor insieme al produttore statunitense Stephen Hague.
La celebrazione del 40° anniversario di Crush arriverà in doppio LP e doppio CD con brani aggiunti e rimasterizzati dai file analogici originali, tra cui sette brani inediti tratti dalle session dell'album, due demo, un mix alternativo, quattro brani inediti e b-sides non presenti nell'album. foto e da note bio-discografiche del giornalista Jason Draper in conversazione con Andy McCluskey.
