Bill Henderson forse non è il primo nome a venire in mente quando si parla di jazz vocale, ma questo album del 1963 fa pensare che dovrebbe essere altrimenti. Alle prese con una manciata di standard (niente affatto scontati) insieme con una macchina da swing come il trio del monumentale pianista Oscar Peterson Trio (con Ray Brown al contrabbasso e Ed Thigpen alla batteria) Henderson è in grado di dare il meglio, rivelandosi un crooner di altissimo livello. Confidenziale la versione di "All or Nothing At All", personalissima come tutti gli altri numeri della performance.
