Black Crowes insieme al produttore George Drakoulias rivisitano il loro secondo classico album, The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion, pubblicato originariamente nel 1992. Perlustrando gli archivi hanno creato una nuova edizione 2CD Deluxe che comprende l’album originale rimasterizzato, registrazioni inedite in studio e rare b-side. Tra gli highlight sono inclusi la cover del classico southern soul hit “99 Pounds” scritto da Don Bryant per Ann Peebles (1971) e la cover di “Rainy Day Women No 12 & 35” di Bob Dylan. L’intero progetto è stato supervisionato dai fratelli Chris e Rich Robinson insieme a George Drakoulias e contiene:
CD 1: l’album “The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion” rimasterizzato dall’originale 1/4” production master.
CD 2: “More Harmony: Unreleased, Outtakes and Live”, quattro canzoni dalle session di registrazione incise ai Southern Tracks di Atlanta tra il dicembre 1991 e gennaio 1992 e cinque brani dal vivo registrati a Houston nel febbraio 1993.
L’album originale rimasterizzato viene ripubblicato anche in VINILE.
CD 1: l’album “The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion” rimasterizzato dall’originale 1/4” production master.
CD 2: “More Harmony: Unreleased, Outtakes and Live”, quattro canzoni dalle session di registrazione incise ai Southern Tracks di Atlanta tra il dicembre 1991 e gennaio 1992 e cinque brani dal vivo registrati a Houston nel febbraio 1993.
