Grant Green, insieme con Kenny Burrell, è stato il più prolifico chitarrista in casa Blue Note. E di sicuro lo specialista delle sei corde il cui nome è indissolubilmente legato alla grande etichetta-laboratorio. Questo album del 1962 spiega in modo eloquente il perché: Green vi figura in compagnia di una “dream band” composta da Herbie Hancock al piano, Butch Warren al contrabbasso e Billy Higgins alla batteria, ai quali si aggiunge il “latin tinge” del tambourine di Garvin Masseaux.
