Sono passati 8 anni dall'ultimo album di Busta Rhymes, che torna nel mezzo di una pandemia mondiale, dove le tensioni razziali si sono riaccese più che mai. Ecco il nuovo attesissimo lavoro Extinction Level Event 2:The Wrath Of God, che fa seguito all' apocalittico Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front del 1998, facendoci sembrare la fine del mondo ancora più reale. Non sono solo gli schemi delle rime intricate e veloci di Busta o gli argomenti tempestivi che attirano l'attenzione, bensì i ritmi da brivido e le sonorità ultraterrene guidate dal produttore Nottz, per la maggior parte, a rendere questo progetto uno dei migliori album hip-hop prodotti negli ultimi cinque anni. Il progetto di 22 tracce include featuring di artisti come Pete Rock, Rakim, Rapsody, Q-Tip, Kendrick Lamar, MOP, Rick Ross, Anderson Paak, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Bell Biv Devoe e altri c'è anche un'apparizione postuma di Ol Dirty Bastard, e contributi vocali di Chris Rock e del ministro Louis Farrakhan.
