Tra i preferiti di sempre, Moondance è spesso considerato uno dei migliori album di tutti i tempi. Dieci anni fa, l'edizione deluxe del disco è stata pubblicata con grande successo, e i critici e i fan si sono crogiolati nel contesto fornito dalle canzoni inedite della sessione di registrazione. Questa edizione estende lo sguardo dietro il sipario sulla "realizzazione" di un capolavoro. Il classico, certificato RIAA-platino, è stato scritto e composto dallo stesso Van Morrison ed è spesso accreditato per aver inaugurato l'era del "soft rock". Tra i successi della raccolta figurano "Come Running", "Into the Mystic", "Crazy Love" e, naturalmente, la title track "Moondance".
