Il debutto su etichetta Nonesuch di Hurray for the Riff Raff (aka Alynda Segarra), LIFE ON EARTH, in uscita il 18 febbraio 2022, è un nuovo inizio per la cantautrice nata nel Bronx. Sono undici nuove tracce di natura punk sul tema della sopravvivenza, sono musica per un mondo in mutazione continua, brani sul prosperare, non solo sopravvivere, mentre sta succedendo una catastrofe. Hurray for the Riff Raff sarà in tour in Nord America questa primavera, con inizio il 19 marzo in Atlanta, mentre le date del tour internazionale saranno annunciate presto.Per il suo ottavo album, Segarra (they/she) ha preso ispirazione dai Clash, Beverly Glenn- Copeland, Bad Bunny, e lautore di Emergent Strategy, adrienne maree brown. Registrato durante la pandemia, Life on Earth è stato prodotto da Brad Cook (Waxahatchee, Bon Iver, Kevin Morby).
