Descrizione del prodotto
Music from Big Pink, lalbum di debutto di The Band (1968), abbracciava per la prima volta ogni sfaccettatura dellAmerican roots music: country, blues, R&B, gospel, soul, rockabilly, la tradizione degli honking tenor sax, inni religiosi, brass band music, folk e, naturalmente, rocknroll. The Band crearono un capolavoro ed un nuovo concetto di composizione che cambiò per sempre il corso della musica popolare.50 anni dopo il mito di Music from Big Pink continua con le sue canzoni senza tempo, The Weight, This Wheels On Fire, Tears of Rage, To Kingdom Come e con la sua iconica ed enigmatica copertina disegnata da Bob Dylan, la casa color salmone sulle colline di West Saugerties, New York Big Pink appunto dove il favoloso quintetto compose e provò i brani che entrarono nella leggenda.
