La prima storica band black metal. Le ristampe in CD digipak con bonus tracks dei tre album Possessed, Eine Kleine Nachtmusic e At War With Satan usciranno il 31 gennaio 2025.
Venuti alla ribalta verso la fine della New Wave of British Heavy Metal, i Venom hanno avuto una grande influenza su tutti i generi del thrash e del metal estremo. Considerata la prima band black metal, la band ha persino dato a una certa band chiamata Metallica la loro prima occasione in Europa quasi 30 anni fa. Infatti, Lars Ulrich una volta ha detto: "[Il primo album dei Venom], Welcome To Hell, è stato un classico! Black metal, speed metal, death metal, come vuoi chiamarlo, i Venom hanno iniziato tutto con quell'unico disco!"
